A bit of a scramble up to the highest point in front of the peak marker (behind the fence). The road to the top is unmarked and off Summit Road (not the Crater Rim track) and you need to duck under a gate. Stunning views!

Technically, the actual highest point of Cass Peak is behind a locked fence; however, you can easily get to a lookout rock with fantastic views.

I believe the access to Cass Peak is a short (sealed) access road off Summit Road for servicing the giant telecommunications "golf ball". I have never been up to the proper summit, but have passed by many times on the trail underneath. Will have to make a pilgrimage to the proper summit next time I'm in the area!
