Wrights Hill can be accessed on the trails Makara Peak Grand Loop, Skyline - Mt Kaukau, Sanctuary Fenceline, WUU2k - 42km Route, Red Rocks Loop, Extended Skyline, Chartwell-Skyline Loop, Otari-Wilton's Bush Loop, Tawatawa Trails, Barking Mad on Barking Emu, Aro Valley - Red Rocks Thigh Buster, Southern Walkway, Polhill to Turbine loop, Park 2 Peak 2 Park, Biblical, Graveyard Shift, Swing Into Action, Trelissick Park, Johnston Hill Loop, Seeking Sanctuary, Spooky Gully and the Rocky Shore, Linking the Reserves, Te Ahumairangi Ridgeline, Mid Makara Magic, Matairangi Loop, Swallow's loop, Waimapihi Treatie, Mini Makara Mission, Full Wellington Skyline Trail , Red-Rocks, Hawkins Hill, Tip-Track Loop, The Benbow Round, Aro Valley / Tip Track loop and Wellington City to Sea & Southern Walkway Loop from our trail directory.
There are many different trail options to access the Wright's Hill trig and lookout. It is also part of the WUU2K race route. Wright's Hill has a network of bunkers and gun emplacements to explore and fantastic views over Wellington city and harbour.
