British Peak can be accessed on the trails Makara Peak Grand Loop, Skyline - Mt Kaukau, Sanctuary Fenceline, WUU2k - 42km Route, Extended Skyline, Chartwell-Skyline Loop, Otari-Wilton's Bush Loop, Aro Valley - Red Rocks Thigh Buster, Polhill to Turbine loop, Park 2 Peak 2 Park, Biblical, Graveyard Shift, Swing Into Action, Trelissick Park, Mount Kaukau Loop, Johnston Hill Loop, Seeking Sanctuary, Huntleigh Park and Crow's Nest , Linking the Reserves, Te Ahumairangi Ridgeline, Mid Makara Magic, Makara Walkway, Waimapihi Treatie, Mini Makara Mission, Full Wellington Skyline Trail , The Benbow Round, Aro Valley / Tip Track loop, Piwakawaka Track, Kaukau Bells Loop, Wellington City to Sea & Southern Walkway Loop, Skyline North - Churton Park to Kaukau and Truscott Kaukau Loop from our trail directory.
Easy to miss the actual peak if you're not paying attention, there's a nice memorial a short distance past the peak which is also a beautiful viewpoint. The trail is a farm 4WD track so very cruisy.
