Description
A very short but absolute gem of a reserve and interesting enough to run several laps to make the short drive here from town worthwhile. The reserve has two tracks, the Nikau and Waterfall tracks. Start on the Waterfall track, entrance to the right of the sign. The trail initially follows the edge of the reserve before entering the bush with an undulating trail which passes a small but beautiful waterfall. After approximately 1km you come across a sign post as you join the Nikau track. Keep going straight ahead to join this trail lined with Nikau plans on both sides as you climb back up to the reserve entrance.
