Te Kopahou can be accessed on the trails Makara Peak Grand Loop, Sanctuary Fenceline, WUU2k - 42km Route, Red Rocks Loop, Tawatawa Trails, Barking Mad on Barking Emu, Aro Valley - Red Rocks Thigh Buster, Polhill to Turbine loop, Park 2 Peak 2 Park, Biblical, Swing Into Action, Seeking Sanctuary, Spooky Gully and the Rocky Shore, Mid Makara Magic, Swallow's loop, Red-Rocks, Hawkins Hill, Tip-Track Loop, The Benbow Round, Aro Valley / Tip Track loop and Wellington City to Sea & Southern Walkway Loop from our trail directory.
Can be approached from a long climb up from the Wellington Wind Turbine and past the Hawkins Hill radar dome or via a steep and gnarly track up from the Red Rocks. Great views across the Cook Strait and over to the South Island.
