Description

NOTE: There is now a separate walking/running track instead of coming down the anaconda that joins back with the outgoing track.

God's Con - To Godley Heads from Taylors Mistake, returns via the Anaconda
Rehab Road - Beacuse it's my go to place to run when getting over injury. The first 5.5km are smooth, wide and undulating. Also a fantastic beginner's run with a down hill nice enough to get you smiling. Fantastic views throughout of cliffs, beaches and the peninsular.

From the Taylors Mistake car park head past the toilet/shower block and follow the marked trail past a row of baches on your right and up the stone steps.
Head left at the top of the steps and follow the gravelled, smooth, meter and a half wide all weather tourist trail along the coast. Several small hills later you will come to Godley Heads car park.
Head through the vehicle entrance and turn left over the cattle stop, turn immediately right over a bike cattle stop, left again and follow the mtb trail which parallels the road for a couple of km's then descends down to the Anaconda.
The Anaconda has some nice big bermed corners where you can really stretch the legs out, this leads into a semi-technical section for the last km back into the rear overspill car park back at Taylors.

    The Anaconda can be very muddy after heavy rain, recommend out & back with Godley Heads as the turnaroud for an 11.5km run
