Description
Best way to complete this run is to park at Sunny Bight or Hans Bay and run around the lake anit-clockwise. This gets the 10km of single track done first and the gravel road for when you are slightly more tired. Follow the road around the Lake until it stops on the southern side which is where the single track starts, there's one decent climb about 7km into the single track which can reduce you to a walk but its mainly nicely undulating. Once you hit the road remember to turn left back to where you started. Another option is to turn around and run back through the single track which is great training for solely trail runs. Many different options can be added to this run including Mt Brown , Mt Tuhua or the West Coast Wilderness trail.
