Mount Brown can be accessed on the trails Loop Lake Kaniere, Mt Brown Bonanza, Browning Pass - Southern Alps Crossing, Three Passes, Mt Brown Hut, Milltown to Lower Arahura Hut and Mt Brown Pt 2 from our trail directory.
An easy trundle along the ridge from Mt Brown hut. Pretty well-worn trail (as is the track up to Mt Brown Hut, although that includes a few bonus tree roots and mud) It's labelled as pt 1270 on the topo, which is a little bit dull, but Google claims this peak is indeed Mt Brown, so we'll go with that… and you should go… for the fantastic views!
