This takes in a good chunk of the final leg of all three of The WILD courses.

Most suitable for:
Intermediate level runners who are comfortable on technical terrain and exposed mountain ridges. Good fitness required.

Peaks to be bagged:
Brow Peak (1456m) and Big Hill (1137m)

Navigation:
Reasonably straightforward in clear visibility but tricky if the cloud is down over the ridges.

Trail Conditions:
Mostly easy to moderate single track and 4WD/farm track, but there is a good chunk of sketchy ridge travel following a vaguely poled route.

This trail includes the peaks Brow Peak and Big Hill .

Unknown.

Long-sleeved thermal top, Seam-sealed waterproof jacket, Beanie/thermal headwear, Whistle, First aid kit, Extra food for emergencies, Cellphone, Compass, Map

There is none until you have bagged both peaks and are on your way down from Big Hill saddle (stream in the beech forest). We recommend you set off with at least 2L.

Do you have a suggestion on where to go afterwards for the best coffee / cake / breakfast / brunch / beer?
