Best attempted at low tide, following the route which sticks to the beach all the way out and back. Note that the trail is currently listed as point-to-point, so the full distance will be closer to 14km. There used to be a coastal hill option which is no longer open to the public, so you'll be coming back the way you came (second chance at an FKT?). Make sure you plan this so that you don't get caught by the tide on the return.
