Mount Rowe can be accessed on the trails Thames Over The Top, Pinnacles & Billy Goat, Booms Flat Waiora Circuit., Coromandel Traverse, Kauaerangi Small Trails Tour, Cooksen Kauri Trail , Pinnacles Summit and Pinnacles/Coroglen/Tapu/Crosbies hut from our trail directory.

Take Kauaeranga Kauri Trail, and then on to Moss Creek Tramping Track. On this track keep your eyes peeled for a falling down green DOC sign, signalling the way to Mt Rowe. The route from here has been no longer maintained by DOC, for a very long time, so go prepared! Little or no "mountaineering" technical difficulty, but up there for navigation and gnarliness.
