Description
Part of the Te Araraoa, this track follows the true right of the Mararoa River from a swingbridge at the outlet of South Mavora Lake to the swingbridge at the start of the kiwiburn hut track. This is mainly a flat forest track with some small ups & downs, streams, muddy sections, roots and fallen trees - all of which are easy to navigate. This trail could be nicely combined with the South Mavora Lake Trail as a longer point to point or out and back.
