Description
This is an off-leash area that is shared with walkers and mountain bikers. There are many other track options created by the local multisport club, the track is easy to follow, mostly hard packed dirt. Follow the main route up to the gun emplacement and then head down and left to the stairs and down to the beach (on this route I turned around at the beach to head back), then head back up the track and towards the emplacement again, take a left up the trail about 20m before the emplacement and head up the hill. There are many trails up there but they all meet back up to the main track, follow this back to the carpark. It is quite up and down so makes for a great short run or do loops to create a longer one.

Staying Safe
Easy.
There are plenty of twists and turns but they all meet the main trail again, and the carpark is also visible for a lot of the run
Perfect throughout.
Seam-sealed waterproof jacket, Gloves, Beanie/thermal headwear, Whistle, First aid kit, Extra food for emergencies, Cellphone, Map.
There is a tap at the exit of the carpark that is hidden in a concrete formation, not sure if it is safe for drinking but people fill dog bowls there
Can get slippery after rain as it is a clay base, also being exposed on the coast it can get very cold
Seals - be careful on the beach, also be aware of the penguins coming in during the hours leading up to dusk or heading out at dawn
