Description
My route was only 4km when I went however, according to map you can run up to 9km if you do all tracks. You could easily loop several times to complete many loops and extend this run a lot further. I started at the first sign posted area opposite carpark (whiritoa lake area) and did a loop through that forest. Then I went down the sealed road towards the Scoutlands (300m) and went into the Pauri area (track starts to the right of the scoutland entrance) and completed a loop going to the very end of the park and back again. Keep a look out for all the wild animals in the Pauri area (you will see what I mean when you come across them).

Staying Safe
Easy.
I would find it difficult for anyone to get lost at all. Take a photo of the sign listing all the tracks and you can go from there. Every track is well sign posted.
Perfect throughout.
Windproof jacket, Whistle, First aid kit, Extra food for emergencies, Cellphone, Map.
No water
Tracks are in excellent condition and many have artifical grass on the sloping bits to prevent slips. This park is designed for younger riders so track are not technical and make a fun easy run.
Just watch for other users (bikers, runners, walkers and dogs)
