Description
From the carpark follow the track uphill till you get to a crossroad with a sign. Follow the track on the left. This will also take you to a lookout over the harbour. From here follow the track uphill to the summit of Laverick's Peak where the wind turbines are. On a windy day, these can be heard from the beginning of the track.
Follow the track past the wind turbines and back into the forest. The track on this side is less technical, is wide in places and you will really get the chance to stretch out your downhill quads. This takes you back to the crossroad. You can do the loop again if you wish in reverse for a different experience, or return back to the carpark.
