Description
Head into the forest on the main trail and about 50m in there is an intersection with trails left, right and straight ahead... turn left, again stay on this main trail (there are a few sideways minor trails) until you come to the sign for 'As You Do' trail. This is a shared MTB Run/walk trail - head right onto that and follow the clearly marked trail. After about 600m there is another intersection, but there is also a sign pointing up the hill for As You Do... this is the start of the climb.
This is an uphill MTB Trail (not downhill so you are not in danger) so the slope is generally steady enough to run. There are the occasional steeper sections but all in all it's pretty good. At the top of this trail you will come out onto a forestry road (never used, so more of a trail), ignore the continuation of As You Do over the road and TURN LEFT here. Follow the track to the next intersection.
Here you have two choices, both of which are acceptable. You can turn hard left for a slightly longer route with a nasty wee steep bit before the top. Or you can take the next one to the right of that up the hill on the forestry road (do not take the very right hand option). Both trails come to the same spot on top where there is a recovery seat.
From there you follow the main trail downhill until it starts to flatten out. Here there's is a split - take the left hand turn here and it will take you on to Tank to Town trail.... blast down here all the way to Tarawera Road. You will come out on the grass about 50m from the road, turn left and follow the trail past the MTB Pump Track and take the left split back into the bush. Just after that you will pass the original entry to As You Do and simply carry on past and retrace your steps to the car.

Access
Head up Tarawera Road past the main Redwoods entrance and look out for the sign for Selwyn Road which goes to the left. Right over the road from the turn to Selwyn Rd (well nearly) you will see a worn area on the grass and maybe a car or two parking. Find a park at the obvious entry to the forest - there is your start.
There is road parking and some parks on the worn grass area. There actually are buses that go past there as well.
