Trail Reviews

Once I sorted left from right, and got onto the track, it was not bad. Shame so many dogs running off lead though.

This is a good track to wander, has some signs showing the way but could be easy to take a wrong turn if you are not familiar with the area. Just remember what goes down must go up ;p (I know I know the saying is back to front) but the climb back up is a goody!

I used to live here many moons ago. Love the Waitaks, hope the Kauri dieback is going better for you folks up there

Started in the dark on a Saturday morning. Peaceful. That climb into Arataki wakes you up, spectacular views (for Auckland anyway ) and Beveridge track is pure joy single track, over too soon.
