Coast, glens and open fells

There’s plenty of variety in the Isle of Man’s trails, from coastal terrain and glens to the open fell running.

Head for the high ground and there are some proper climbs, including routes around Snaefell and North Barrule. Expect rough ground, exposed sections and plenty of ups and downs.

With a lot packed into a relatively small island, there are plenty of options for putting together anything from a shorter run to a bigger day out.
