Description for clockwise circuit (can be run easily either way).

Starting from the gate at the end of Onepoto Rd, head north along the coast. After about 500m you cross a small foot bridge. Take the left-hand path and head upstream. The path follows a gradual climb up the gully, until you reach a saddle and head down a short, steep section to the beach. Turn right at the carpark and follow the path back around the coast. The track along the coast changes between sections of well formed, surfaced track, and areas of unformed track. You can also run along the short beaches at low tide. Follow the track back to the footbridge and back to the carpark.

Trail Reviews

Love this run, such beautiful views and just one climb makes it a great little loop. Pick a calm day as the wind around there can be intense! Oh and make sure you jump down off the track and run along the beach....it would be rude not to ;)

That was really nice. Cruisy little loop and I did a bit of extra exploring out at the far end , trotting up to the Po in the carpark up the hill is a great vantage point for Mana Island. Cheers!

Did it in some brutal wind, with my doggo ... its a good easy short trail, was a good "easy day" run for me!

46m for me. I stopped to enjoy the views from the top. The tide was high, and my shoes stayed dry. Will do again. A little mud after rain the nights before. Road shoes were fine.
