Description

From the gate follow the trail across the field, through long grass and into the small bit of bush. Here the trail becomes much easier to see and winds it's way up to Horokiwi Road, coming out near the intersection with Woollaston Way. Take in the view, then enjoy the downhill run back to the start.

    Grenada Drive, just south of the roundabout with Mark Avenue and the bus stop. There is a gap next to a gate, with an obvious track.

    Plenty of parking available at the bus stop. Bus Stop number 3451 Grenada Drive, Grenada Village. Route number 1.

  • Staying Safe

    Easy.

    Near the top of the trail there's the option to go left or right. This description takes the right hand fork that leads to the road.

    Generally good.

    Short-sleeved thermal top, Windproof jacket, Whistle, First aid kit, Extra food for emergencies, Cellphone, Map.

    None. There is a small stream suitable for dogs.

    The track may be slippery after rain.

    Watch out for mountain bikes.
