This is a mountain bike park, common sense needs to be used. No headphones, give way to bikers, be alert and aware at all times. if this is abused they won't let us run out here!

You will need this written down or screen-shotted! Lots of instructions, but these are the gems of Cougar Park! Maybe have a handy map of the park to follow. it will help HEAPS!

Starting from the car park make your way directly across the field and over the bridge. Following the entrance track until sharply on your right you will see Mountain lion. You'll arrive at the top of the hill called Jungle Junction. Catch your breath and turn sharp left - it does not have a track name as it is a gravel road.

Run down the hill until you find a sign on your right 'this way to jack & Jill'. Follow the trail and make your way up jack & Jill until you find yourself back up at Jungle Junction. Now go down Tiggers Tail keeping an eye out for a track that veers out to the left (there may still be an event sign up there for a while that says "12hr day/night loop right and 50-25km competitiors left". Turn left here and then right onto Ridgeline (NOT Chemical Bros)

Follow Ridgeline until you come out to a gravel road. 300 metres on your left turn here - it is marked by a white post saying "to 50&25km loop". This track brings you on to Chemical Bros. You'll come onto gravel again and this time follow until the intersection, turn right up the hill and at the top turn right.

Once you get back into the trees there is a trail to your left. Jump on to this, it follows the road but way cooler to run on. Stay on this trail., there is a sweet downhill. You want to turn right on the trail that leads you to Saber Tooth - yes, another climb but it's a pretty track with a cave.

You'll end up at Jungle Junction for your 3rd and last time! Speedy Cheetah is your most direct route back to car park (though you may not want to do this if the park is busy with mt. bikers) or find your way to KCs climb (left off Mountain Lion - you might have seen the sign on your way up) or make your way back down Mountain Lion and the entrance track back to car park.
