Follow the old 4WD track. Some parts are unmarked. At the top is a Picnic Table. Orange marker arrows are near the top that point where to go.

Stunning views of the Teviot valley and great schist features at the top. If you wish for a longer run you can connect to Mt Hope Road at the top which will take you down to Lake Roxburgh Village and you can join onto the Coal Creek Cycle Way along the State Highway and back to the start of the Bullock Track. The road is all gravel.

Parking available at start by the sign or first gate at the end of the gravel road.

Trail Reviews

Exactly what it says on the description. Steep 4wd track. Pretty cool views of the area, I assume even better from the top but I was in the clouds. Also some cool rocks along the way

Hard core climb! Hard core descent!

If you’re looking for a meaty climb on mostly grassy 4wd tracks, this is your trail. If you also like sliding and falling on you’re a55 a lot then go early in the morning to guarantee heavy dew. Very cold at the top and clouds came in fast so bring warm layers just in case. Also had crazy jelly jegs from running down but views were bonkers beautiful.

Just plain tough.... averaging 20% incline up for 4km... not only that but then you have to come down again... first time for a long time I have had jelly legs after a run. But the views... wow... wonderful top of the world views!
