Description

Starting at the Alexandra Station, you head out along the Central Otago Rail Trail towards the Manukerikia River. Cross the bridge and then head North. This guide is written up as if you go all the way the next crossing of the Manuherikia River (12.2km) but you can stop and turn back at anytime sooner. This is a great spot to have a nice flat run, stretch the legs, do some time trials etc, but not have to worry about being mowed down by a car.
