Mid Hill can be accessed on the trails Cass-Lagoon Trail, Bealey Blaster, Coleridge to Bealey Beer Run and In and out of the Avoca from our trail directory.
I approached Mid Hill Pk from Lagoon Saddle. Little boggy in places but the high tussock was dry so bonus. Beautiful tarns for camping. I went along the ridge and last bit is a moderate scramble . It can be avoided by choosing the scree. I have attached a photo of the Peak which also show the scramble.
