Hey,

We've been working hard in the background and have some cool things coming up. Some of it is so epic it gets its very own dedicated email so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime...

A new look is coming for Wild Things

As well as upgrading the trail directory, we're working on a new logo and a new look for Wild Things. Why? It's time. We need to represent the wonderful lunatics of the Wild Things community while also looking sharp in our dealings with partner organisations (so we can keep getting you all those tasty discounts).

We've been developing some new branding that's designed to keep pace with the Wild Things community as it evolves. It's exciting stuff. You'll get to see it later this year when we relaunch the upgraded directories.

Change is hard (but so is trail running)

I know there'll be mixed feelings about changing the logo. Those four faithful little runners and that slightly chaotic font have proudly represented the Wild Things community for eight strong years. They've run a long, long way and they mean a lot to us. So get in quick if you want some heritage merch to preserve your slice of history – it’s only while stocks last.

The Merrell Go Anywhere Trail Runner Challenge

We were chuffed to welcome Merrell on board as a VIP Partner last month. They have now tasked us with finding homes for six pairs of their new Moab Flight shoes, an anywhere trail runner. So, it's Wild Challenge time!

All you need to do is run/walk, record it on Strava and repeat. For a month. One run gets you in the draw, and every run after that increases your chances to win. You'll also get fitter, too. Oh, and this one is open to all VIPs. Double bonus!

The 3 Peaks

We're reaching the final climb of the 3 Peaks Challenge! Less than two weeks left to get all your peaks bagged. Dig deep, keep calm and carry on. The leader is topping out 20 at the moment! Legend. Get your peaks bagged to increase your chance of winning!

Wild Things & Athletic Mindset Live Q&A!

Trail and ultra-running are physically demanding, that's a no brainer. But what about our actual brains? Do we spend as much time preparing our mindset and mental skills as we do training our bodies? Nope, no way, probably not.

To help you perform at your max and get the most out of every trail you tackle, we've got a great opportunity to get all your mindset and mental skills questions answered by performance mindset coach Steve from Athletic Mindset.

The Facebook Live Event will be streamed in our VIP Members' Lounge.

When: Monday 15th August, 6.30-7.30 pm
Where: VIP Members Facebook Group
Who: Steve Cockram - Athletic Mindset

If you have a question for Steve on the Live Q&A, please submit your question below by the 12th of August.

Oh, and remember to check out The Mindset Wild Challenge too!

Epic Shop Stuff

We had a chat with the shipping gods, and the bloody fantastic UltrAspire Zygos 5.0 is now in stock, along with a new stash of the UltrAspire Epic XT 2.0 packs. You're welcome 👍.

Heads up: we have just a few of the equally as fantastic UltrAspire Zygos 4.0 left, so if you're after an awesome pack and an awesome bargain (save $60!), you can't go far wrong here.

We've also got some more colour-ways of the epic T8 Sherpa short. Now you can colour co-ordinate your running threads to match your shoes.

Happy trails,

Rob
