Description
Leave the carpark on the mown track leading south towards the public toilets. After about 10 meters you will see a sign directing you to the trail to the right (so if you reach the toilets you have missed it).
After about 150 meters take a left (the trail sign is slightly down the track but visible from the turn). Next turn is right after another 400m which takes you on a loop back to the second turn.
Turn right back along the track you just did but continue straight on when you reach the loop turn. Ignore the next left turn and at about 400 meters past the loop turn take a right. This starts a second loop that takes you up onto a ridge with panoramic views of Riversdale beach and Castlepoint.
There are numerous seats along the way. The loop brings you back down to retrace your steps back to that left turn you ignored (which is now a right turn). This takes you down to the beach. Turn left up the beach back to the carpark.
