Description
From the carpark it is a great constant climb along 4wd then single DoC track up the gully. Then once you get higher you join a 4WD track and zig zag your way to the tops. The views over the Fairlie Basin through to Timaru and Four Peaks are fantastic. Once you are nearly at the top you will then have amazing views of Burkes Pass through to Tekapo and beyond - right through to Mt Cook!. Note the track does carry along the top ridgeline BUT this is private farmland. Remember if a gate is closed, open and close it behind you as this is on a working farm as well.
