The Old Man of Storr is an iconic landmark on the Isle of Skye. In high summer its wildly popular so be ready to meet some new friends on your way up and back

From the carpark go through the gate and follow the southern side of the lower loop through an area of felled trees. The track is well defined and wide and involves some stars as you get higher towards the amazing rock obelisks and crags that make up the Old Man of Storr.

Carry on past the Old Man right to the ridge top col for commanding views back to the rock formations- created by an ancient landslide, Retrace your steps back down, completing the lower loop at the end for a spectacular 5km adventure on Skye.
