This one is only for very experienced runners or hikers. From Gertrude Saddle continue east until you reach the ridge. Follow that ridge towards Barrier Knob. Do not attempt without GPS with a topo map and only in the summer. If the snow is present, do not go. The view from the top is one of the best in NZ. Lake Adelaide, Milford Sound, Fiordland...
