From Double Hut, head up Swin River South. Easy travel up bed heading for the ridge with pt1766. At the foot of the ridge, turn up up the right branch as you face (true left). Look for the cairn and head up through tussock and spaniard onto the ridge. Follow the ridge in all the way up to the summit, weaving around outcrops on the way.
