About this hut

Facilities and services

All huts on the Paparoa Track have:

  • heating
  • long drop toilets supplied with toilet paper, and
  • cold running water.

The huts have:

  • gas cooking facilities,
  • sinks with cold running water inside the hut, and
  • mattresses on the bunks.

You'll need to bring your own cooking equipment and sleeping bag as these are not supplied. For example, billy, bowl, utensils.

There are no showers in any of the huts.

Prices are per person, per night. NZ rates are for New Zealand visitors and INT rates are for international visitors.

Backcountry Hut Passes can be used as payment for Ces Clark Hut, however you'll need to book online, then claim a refund. To claim a refund, email  with your booking reference and a scanned copy of your Backcountry Hut Pass.
