Situated beside a tidal estuary, the Torrent Bay Village Campsite is five minutes from a scheduled water taxi stop. Water taxis can drop off public visitors between 9 am and 12 pm (midday) only. There is no pick-ups available by water taxi from this location at any time.
This campsite is not suitable for kayakers as the estuary is tidal and empty for much of the day. It is a 400 m walk to the campsite and it is not practical to drag a kayak this far.
