We use analytics on Wild Things to help us learn and improve the features and website.
However, much of the data collected by Google Analytics, we believe, is unnecessary and collects data we don't need to collect or store about you, our users.
So, today we have replaced Google Analytics with Plausible, a privacy-focused alternative.
By using Plausible Analytics, all the site measurement is carried out absolutely anonymously.
Plausible Features
- Cookies are not used whatsoever.
- No personal data is collected.
- All data is in aggregate only.
- We do not track people across devices, or other websites.
- All data is isolated to a single day only.
- No data is sent, shared with, or sold to to any third parties.
The result:
We get some actionable data to help us learn and improve, while you can keep having a nice and enjoyable experience.
