You can start this from anywhere in the loop.
From Clive head into the Evers Swindell Reserve to the right of the bridge as you face north. Hop onto the Cycle/Walkway and away you go.
Follow the trail for about 4.5km out to the estuary along the coast, along the coast and as it turns away from the sea. At about 4.5km you have a choice, you can drop down onto the horse trail that runs parallel to the main trail or stay on the main trail if speed is your desire.
At around 6km or so you reach Mill Road. Here you have two choices, head down the verge of the road to the right all the way into Clive and back to the start or retrace you trail to the start. Either is acceptable.
Lots of wildlife, Spoonbills, Stilts, Tui, Pūkeko and many more. There loop has awesome views as well.
If you know of any public toilets near the trail start or on the route, please login and then let us know so we can update this section.
