From the parking, take a left up the hill along a farm track, continue past a house on your right and keep going straight up the hill. You will come to a fork where you veer left to continue uphill until you reach the trig point and cairn.

From here carry on following the main path which veers round to the right, you will be following the ridge that you can see ahead of you. Continue through some boggier sections, keeping your eyes on your GPX and the path for your next right turn to bring you back down into the valley.

You will descend slowly back down to the initial fork at the burn, passing by a wee bothy on your way, which is a great spot to stop for a snack if the rain has arrived!

Once you try and avoid getting your feet wet in the burn you turn left and you are back on the same track back to the car park.

None available.
