Easy.

Avoid in bad weather. Start early - Sunny days can be challenging with direct sun and minimal shade. Conditions in the region can change rapidly so come prepared.

Patchy.

Long-sleeved thermal top, Seam-sealed waterproof jacket, Whistle, First aid kit, Extra food for emergencies, Cellphone, Map, Snake bandage

Untreated watertank at Federation Hut, and is unreliable. No other sources.

Best in summer, possible in autumn and spring however depends on how early the snow comes. You're able to do this in show shoes if experienced. Weather can change rapidly all year round cause poor visibility and disorientation. Check the forecast.

Exposed to all weather! Snakes.

Do you have a suggestion on where to go afterwards for the best coffee / cake / breakfast / brunch / beer?
