Stuck in an airport hotel and needing an escape? This trail leads down to the Watercare pathways along the harbours edge. Plenty of different options. I chose to head north past the sewerage works towards Ambury Regional Park with a loop of Mangere Lagoon. Whilst the smell was a little offputting the views were spectacular across the harbour, lots of wildlife and felt miles away from the city.
