Boot Bananas Winter Sports Moisture Absorbers can easily be part regenerated by drying them in the sunshine, on a radiator, or in the oven for 1 – 2 hours no higher than 110ºC (230ºF). Once dry and cool, place back in the pack and reseal to ensure they are ready for action when you need them next. Use the oven method to fully regenerate and for optimum performance regenerate regularly.
Discolouration will occur over time demonstrating how much moisture your bananas are soaking up. This will not effect the drying performance.
If used with trail running shoes there is a risk that your bananas themselves will get muddy. If this happens brush off any excess mud then wipe with a damp cloth, but do not submerge!
If submerged the silica beads will break and the Winter Sports Moisture Absorbers will no longer function effectively.
