Awesome mish up from dingle station. We stayed the night there and with permission from the station owner we accessed mt Jones via a hill at the start of a long ridgeline up to mt Jones and beyond. All pretty easy to navigate, some goat tracks. Nothing too techy. We went beyond to have a look at Mt Arnold. It looks pretty full on and techy but apparently easy to get to by continuing along the ridgeline. Some scree running options too. We went late October and some snow but nothing serious. Awesome views across to sentinel and the southern alps. Also awesome views of north side of corner and dingle.
