A really straightforward peak. Lungbuster of a walk up to the skilifts via the 4wd road but you gain a lot of elevation very quickly. From there, you can see the route to the left switchbacking up to the ridge. Stellar views across Oteake from there! Turn left and there's a faint traial trail that swings around a bluff towards the summit. The last 200ish metres are a bit of a scree scramble but nothing too challenging. Views across to Aoraki and Aspiring if its a clear day.
