About this hut

Rangitikei Hut (Korohi Bivvy) is a privately managed four-bunk hut located on Māori land within the East Taupō Lands Trust block. Access is by permission through Helisika, which manages the private hunting blocks in the area.

The surrounding steep beech forest and mānuka-covered hillsides offer excellent roar hunting, with a mix of tighter country and more open areas.
