Rockslide Hut is largely isolated from other tracks and huts. This simple biv was built in 1960 by the New Zealand Forest Service and was upgraded in 1990. Situated by the Apias Stream at an altitude of 750 m, the bivouc is surrounded by beech forest and relatively sheltered.
