There are two sites to camp on Okahu Road, the road end and the larger mid-Okahu camp (formerly known as Grader Camp).
Camp on grass terraces adjacent to Okahu Stream, with good picnicking and walking in he forest.
Fire pit/place for campfires (except in fire bans), Non-powered/tent sites, Water from stream, Toilets - non-flush, Toilets, Water supply

Landscape: Forest, Rivers and lakes
Dogs: Dogs with a DOC permit only. Contact closest DOC office to get a permit.
