About the Event:

McLeans Island is one of Christchurch’s hidden treasures! This course weaves in and out of beautiful old grown pine forest and along river banks treating you to stunning natural scenery and pristine farmland. Keep an eye out through the pines for a glimpse of the meandering Waimakariri River.

Great for first timers being a flat easy course. Also fantastic for experienced runners looking for a new PR, this course is FLAT and hard packed, making for a quick and fun day! This is part of the Aramex Kiwi Walk & Run Series, a nationwide event packed with fun, food, and adventure that’s all about getting people moving—whether you’re up for a relaxed weekend walk with friends or chasing your next trail-running challenge.
