About the Event:

Krayzie Chicks Frontyard Ultra is a variance on the ever popular backyard ultra. Female runners must consecutively run the distance of 6kms in less than one hour.  When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is used to recover and replenish for the next hour's race.  The race finishes when one person completes one more lap than anyone else.

The Frontyard Ultra is designed as an introduction to the backyard ultra for female runners. The loop is slightly shorter than the standard backyard ultra, which eases some of the time pressure. It's also an opportunity for females to join together, make new friends, have fun and challenge themselves to something new in a safe environment and put the males on kid and crewing duties.
