Just a short ten minute drive from Tauranga, McLaren Falls Regional Park is covered with pristine forest and well formed trails overlooking the stunning Lake McLaren. Alush with native bush and glowworms, this is one of NZ’s most popular and visited regional parks. There is slightly little more elevation than the usual Kiwi Walk & Run Series courses but still great for first timers, avid trail runners, young and old, walkers and runners. This is part of the Aramex Kiwi Walk & Run Series, a nationwide event packed with fun, food, and adventure that’s all about getting people moving—whether you’re up for a relaxed weekend walk with friends or chasing your next trail-running challenge.
