The WILD may not be happening as planned in 2022 but those glorious Arrowtown trails are still open. The Not The Wild Festival between Wednesday 7th and Monday 12th December 2022 is an opportunity for all would-be participants in The WILD to get together for an informal 'festival' of trail running in what we consider to be NZ's trail running mecca.
Mal Law and Shaun Collins have put together a collection of 15 cracking routes. These range from short and easy to long and very committing runs. These 15 runs are the base for this Wild Challenge.
It's quite simple: How many explorer points can you get, during the Not The Wild Festival, on any of these 15 routes?
This Wild Challenge is open to all VIPs, so if you're heading down to Arrowtown for the festival, get involved!
