MOVE for Mental Health Challenge

About the Challenge:

Join the Wild Things Move for Mental Health Challenge and be part of the team moving one million minutes to raise money for mental health in New Zealand while winning epic prizes along the way.
 
We know this is a topic many of us are passionate about, and we want to empower everyone to get involved. This challenge is open to all Wild Things VIP members, so together we can reach our ambitious goal of one million minutes moving! This is due to be one of the biggest challenge prize pools of all time.

Our goal of one million minutes is a combined total for everyone who takes part in the challenge, and you can see the running total underneath the leaderboard. If we get 500 people taking part, then the average each person would need to move is just over five and a half hours per person per month.

Here's how it works:

1. Join this Wild Things Challenge
2. Sign up for the Move for Mental Health fundraising platform here. If it asks you to select a date, just put in today's date (it doesn't actually matter!)
3. Join the Wild Things Move Challenge team when you sign up, here.
4. Set yourself an epic goal to contribute to our team goal of 1 million minutes of movement
5. Track your activity with Strava. Your points will automatically accumulate on our leaderboard and with Move
6. Share your fundraising link and join the conversation in our Facebook Group
7. Win prizes! We will be dishing up epic prizes every single month thanks to our many epic sponsors

We will be sharing tonnes of epic resources and motivation on movement for Mental Health over the coming 6 months. We are a team, and we are here to support each and every one of you through the good times and the bad.
 
Where does the money raised go?

It supports the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand to deliver positive outcomes for Mental Health and wellbeing by influencing policy for a better mental health system, distributing nearly one million free mental health resources each year, supporting people in need to navigate the mental health system, and organising nationwide campaigns to improve our own and others mental wellbeing. Epic.

Note: by entering this challenge you give permission for us to hand along your postal address to our prize parters if you win, so they can get these epic prizes sent out to you.

Each month we will be announcing the partners coming onboard to support this challenge with heaps of epic prizes to be won.
